I’m so excited about what is happening at Exemplify Ministries. Below is a quick rundown of what we are planning over the next few months. I posted it on Exemplify Online & figured I should share it here too.
I’m not sure what these changes mean for this space. I may end up moving this little blog over to the main ministry site. I’ll have to roll with it and see what works best.
For now, here is what we are doing:
As we make some changes at Exemplify, I wanted to better direct our readers to our resources. As of April 2013, ExemplifyOnline.com will be solely dedicated to the encouragement of teen girls. We’re slowly and quietly working toward our (re)launch and will have a domain change happening soon. It should be a seamless transition. Let us all pray it is. ;) You can follow us on Twitter or Tumblr for some daily encouragement until things get going. The team that is forming probably has me the most excited of all! I cannot wait to share each member with you.
In the meantime, if you’ve been a reader for a while and are over the age of 18, you may want to check us out over at Exemplify Ministries new home website. Our women’s outreach will be happening over there in the coming months. Be sure to follow along and subscribe so you don’t miss a thing! You may notice some changes as we settle in over there and make the ministry more at home.
I’m also excited to have taken a new job at A Woman Inspired’s ministry. I’m the Director of Outreach and will be involved in our bible study and podcast ministries. If you are a Talk 21 listener, I’ll be podcasting mainly over at A Woman Inspired from here on out and will be sure to share the details at Exemplify Ministries each week. The leadership team is amazing, and we are planning such awesome stuff for this year at AWI! I definitely encourage you to get to know the team and be on the lookout for the re-launch of A Woman Inspired’s Blog to stay up to date. Such great ministry in the works - including our free March conference happening in just a few short weeks! Check it out and register to hang out with us.

“There will come a writing phase where you have to defend the time, unplug the phone and put in the hours to get it done.”
- James Taylor
I’m at a point in my schedule this month where I need to defend my time. So, I’m setting some serious online boundaries for the next month or so as I tackle a few work projects.
I’m only mentioning it here because the last time I took a digital sabbatical I received some kind emails asking if everything was okay. Just a heads up that all is okay :) I just have some work that I need to get serious about!
A little update:
2:21 is coming along. Hit a small code snag with the theme this last week which is why we are back on maintenance mode. Shouldn’t be for much longer though! Excited to really launch things with our first video series come April.
Exemplify as a whole has moved to its own site. Exciting things are happening behind the scenes and I cannot wait to share where we are headed. If you’re interested in learning ways you may be able to join the team, check out this information & send me an email.
Think that is it!
I’m off to show this to-do list who is boss.
Happy living to you!

“And I think that’s what our world is desperately in need of – lovers, people who are building deep, genuine relationships with fellow strugglers along the way, and who actually know the faces of the people behind the issues they are concerned about.” —Shane Claiborne
Can you name the faces behind the issues you are concerned about? What kind of deep, genuine relationships are you building with fellow strugglers along the way?
I asked this same one a while ago, but I’m wondering again today.
Maybe we can encourage one another to step out a little more in practical ways (got any?), to get to know the people Jesus loves - the strugglers. And to maybe let ourselves be known a bit more too.
